Leah Gross is a seasoned public relations professional with over twenty five years of communications experience. She founded her own firm, Story Dept. in 2001. She handles all aspects of each of her clients communications programs including strategy and program development, media and trade relations, social media campaigns, special events/trade shows, crisis issues and industry outreach.
Prior to launching Story Dept., she was vice president of communications at Initiative, a multi million-dollar international media agency owned by The Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG). At Initiative she oversaw a team of executives that handled all of the communications activities for the company across the United States. Prior to her role at Initiative, Leah was a senior account supervisor in the Los Angeles office of the nation’s largest public relations firm, Weber Shandwick Worldwide. While there she developed domestic and global strategic corporate PR programs for fortune 500 companies, start-ups and non-profits organizations and implemented tactical communications programs that included aggressive media and analyst relations, product launches and special events planning and promotion.
Leah graduated from Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts, with a bachelor-of-arts degree.
